Our story began with my mom's involvement as an acting board member at the Kindness Campaign in Chicago, Illinois. She inspired me to help homeless individuals by feeding them through partnerships developed by Christopher Watts and the dedicated members and volunteers of the campaign. I, Deanna Sophia, feel a deep duty to serve others, finding comfort in wearing cozy and warm clothing—something I designed myself. My pageant coach, Maurita Sutton Brown, has always encouraged me to persevere and strive for success. As Miss Black Orlando Talented Teen,I am committed to bridging the gap between poverty and financial freedom, education, and homeownership.
